Oriental Fusion is a fusion band which was originally form on the year of 2005. Our songs are based on many different genre's. Our main goal is to mix Sri Lankan traditional and cultural music and instruments with modern rock music. It all began at UTSAV 2005,( an anual south asian cultural show that is been held by the SouthAsian club @ Montgomery College Rockville, MD, USA) which we had to do a little preformance that represent Sri Lanka. After the performance, from the crowed's respond and reactions, it influenced us to continue and develop our music further. So far we haven't released any songs or album's. But we have performed live 3 times. And we are hoping to release an album in the future.

A Message From the Band
It's hard to wake up after a dream not remembering half of what you dreamt. A beating heart carrying messages through your soul. Separating dreams from reality.From this dream was born the story of Fusion. Seven men joined in the shadows of a darkened corridor to achieve what they were put on this earth to do, to make music, music far different from what anybody's ears had heard ,music that reflected their souls even in the darkest of moments. Through culture and the uniting force of blood Oriental Fusion was born.The beat of every drum, every string in a guitar, every key in a piano and every voice deep in our heart is fused in unleashing the morbid romance for music that we possess. The unifying sound generated from the instruments we use are engraved in our fan’s hearts through amplified sounds, but not every one realizes that what comes out of our music is the blend of Sri Lankan culture with symphonic depth of metal. The power of music needs our own definition, for we willnot agree to what our souls reject. Musicians of various genres look to producing music with various melody lines and lyrics where as we create a bridge from which one can connect to the other.This bridge cannot be built without maintaining our cultural esteem and blending it perfectly with the grunge of metal. The foundation of our music blends together ranging from black metal interludes to folk beats of Sri Lanka, and this fuse requires a sacrifice that we define as music. From the beginning till the end of every song we compose, we make sure that we fuse the music together in a unique from that will leave people speechless.
